Todays Horoscope [Oct. 21st, 2009|12:20 pm]

Like slowly rising bread dough, your business or career plans are finally starting to turn into something real! This is a day of great momentum, when a little nudge of effort in one direction will cause a giant avalanche of good will, positive feedback and success. Keep talking all day long -- the more you can connect people to what you're doing, the better. You will soak up a lot of energy from the enthusiasm that other people are showing you.

This was a nice thing to see especially after faxing the sales contract of my first deal to the lender. Today was the office meeting where I was offered an open house to host, picked up a day of phone duty. Seems all is good.

Quick log. [Oct. 7th, 2009|05:47 pm]

This evening I start phone duty in a few minutes.

Yesterday I wrote up a contract to purchase for a family.

It was said to be about 6 months before you actually get anything, I have done it in 3 months. I am happy. But very busy.

I Passed [Jul. 11th, 2009|11:08 pm]
So I was a little nervous going into the Real Estate Exam. 9am start time supposed to be there a half hour early. Duration given to complete 3 hours for both sections.

A 75% was needed to pass in each section.

On the staye section I had scored a 90%.

Federal I had scored an 87%.

To say the least I am pleased and ready to hit the ground running.

So now if any of you were trying to find the right person to help you buy or sll your home in Ohio. Consider me.

Me love you long time.

With weeks looking like this frequently...no wonder I don't get much time to update.

[mood | cheerful]

Cinci Zoo has plenty of hills to push a stroller up and down to get that heart rate up.

Little Updates [May. 15th, 2009|09:13 am]
Today I take both boys for health checks.

Jacob will be getting shots.

Another happy milestone and I pray we can duplicate again tonight. Jacob slept from 9:30pm-4:30am. 7 hours straight. That is a major milestone and made better by him just eating and being changed to sleep for another 3 hours. Happy well rested mommy am I.

Things Outgrown [Apr. 15th, 2009|08:22 pm]
I find it strange to already be packing up the first box of clothes outgrown (Newborn). Yes, he is a month old now but it just has flown by so quick.

Actually I should be saying both boys are growing so quick. The rest of the things from my place in Fairborn are here now including the rest of Tristan's clothes. I am having to go through them all seeing it seems he has outgrown all of them in just a couple of months time.

Well I have a few more minutes of napping to get something productive.

Feeding Specialist [Mar. 21st, 2009|09:21 am]
[mood | determined]

What a great experience this was. Seriously I have never been so happy at a doctor appointment. We now have a bottle that our little piggy gets more food faster with less work from my hands.

Before we were using the cleft pallet nurser which simply puts the food in his mouth without any sucking on his part. But it was slow and was tiring to squeeze a plastic bottle for an hour to get maybe an ounce into him. Now we have the Madela Special Needs Feeder and he is using his muscles to sock, much softer nipple, slight squeezing to give him more with each suck and he can down almost 3 ounces in 20 minutes now.

The great news is a bottle that works wonders for us. Slight downside each bottle has to be special ordered in and costs between $20-25. I have two given to me which are only 80ml (2 2/3 oz) each. Last night I dropped a chunk of change to have 6 150 ml (5 oz) bottles delivered.

If anyone would like or know someone who can use a mass of Playtex Drop-Ins bottles, nipples and liners just drop a line. Not asking anything for them, just trying to get them to a place they may be of use.

Joys and Complications [Mar. 19th, 2009|07:15 pm]
[mood | tired]

With only a couple of complications Jacob is a healthy boy.

For the next couple months I will be a full time stay at home mom. Too many doctors and clinics to tend to to actually work a job that pays. Children's Cleft clinic seeing he has a cleft pallet (soft pallet and not apparent from the outside). Audiology which might be a simple thing but so far first hearing test he failed both ears, second test passed the right failed the left so who knows what more testing will do. This is in addition to the normal appointments for a newborn.

It will be a week tomorrow that he was born. Days one through three were in the hospital. Day four appointment at the family practice so we could get the refferls needed for Children's. Day five bloodwork at Good Sam. Day six and seven on the phone with Children's getting appointments made. Tomorrow day eight appointment with a feeding therapist seeing the cleft issue causes feeding problems.

He is a blessing and a joy. But we have enough challenges to overcome for a little while.

One Week Till D-Day [Mar. 6th, 2009|08:10 am]
I'm still getting things done. Everytime I trhink its all ready I find more to do.

The baby is more ready than Sponge Bob. Room has been done twice now. I picked up a couple more clothes type things which I'll wash today and put away. Set up the monitors (yes plural, one sound, light, vibration and the other a motion monitor which sets off an alarm if the baby has no micro movement for 20 seconds) you can't hear them not breathing.

Today is just a cleaning and organizing day. Bathrooms to make pretty and clean. Floors to sweep. Stuff to go into the attic.

And not so major project have the car set for the hospital. My bag, clothes for baby, present for Tristan from Jacob, car seat base installed, and car seat. All that will be needed is us getting in the car. Much less likely to forget something if its already packed and checked ahead.

Tristan is very excited. He has been waiting for his brother for a long time. And his arrival is just around the corner. Between the big and little brother shirts. Tristan helping picking out and shopping for the baby. And him having his choice of where he wants to be when Jacob is born. Some of the beggining issues of sibbling rivalry have been resolved by keeping him involved. The sweetest thing is him not only giving me a hug and kiss every morning and bedtime but the baby in my belly one as well.

It looks like I'll be able to schedule Jacob's arrival. The Dr asked if I would have a problem if the baby was born on Friday the 13th. I said Hell no I don't have a problem with that...That date ROCKS!!!!

Exam Time [Feb. 11th, 2009|09:54 am]
I take y exam in a few hours but don't feel anywhere near as prepared as I would like to be. 5 months I had been away from the classroom waiting for the application mess to get sorted out. I did take the review class and studied a bit as well.

Today I am not stressing this. If I pass great. If I don't not a biggie, the exam fee is nowhere near as high as the inurance one. I can audit the classes for free to get the info I need the most and take the test again with the knowledge and experience of taking it once before.

Now I just need to focus a bit. A bit of a challenge when all I seem to have on my brain is baby on the way.

He Popped My Cherry! [Feb. 3rd, 2009|04:19 pm]
[mood | ecstatic]

For the first time in almost six years of Tristans life I had actually gotten a child support payment.

Sid is ordered to pay $720.68 each month. Good to know life has treated him well and he now is being held accountable to share the expenses of his son.

Another New Baby [Dec. 29th, 2008|08:26 am]
I had decided that I wnted to find a small fish tank for my room. Had found the perfect set up 10 gallon oak with a pine wood stand stained oak. When getting home I had discovered a crack in the bottom corner of the tank. Grrr....annoying

Making the best of the trip back Stephen, Tristan and I went to lunch at Sake and broght the cracked one with us to exchange at the store after eating. Yummy.

Back to the strip that had the pet store. Stopped in the Cork&Vine. Looked around game stop. Then petland with the damaged tank.

While in the pet store we looked around. Stephen had noticed a puppy. A chiuaua puppy. Mind you he has not wanted pets. So, I told him to get it out to play. Well, that tank exchange brought a puppy home with us too. Penelope Ann aka"Punky"

Pictures will be up later.

2nd Anniversary, 34th Bday and Xmas [Dec. 23rd, 2008|09:15 am]
[mood | content]

Stephen has already given me my gift for the year. A diamond band which later can be fastened to my wedding set.

I don't want to be engaged to him again, but that does not mean I wouldn't marry him. Just an odd thing seeing we had already been engaged once but he called it off. So, why would I want to be engaged again?

We are just living life and he does want to marry me in the future, just in a few years time after our lives settle a bit. For now I have a house, a child and a life with him. Oh and a ring to show his love to everyone including me.
